Our RS15-ax Reseller Accounts have all the features your customers will be asking for.

  Standard Features

TrafficBlasterŽ accounts are low cost, self-service virtual web hosting accounts. All TrafficBlasterŽ Web Hosting accounts have these features:
  • Use your own domain, no extra charge (but a domain isn't required)
    • No extra charge
    • A separate IP address for each domain, for compatibility with all browsers
    • A domain isn't required, you can have a URL like http://user.trafficblaster.com/~you/ if you like
    • Domains of the form ___.trafficblaster.com are available for the asking
    • Monolith will give you a ___.ml.org domain for free. They also have links to other organizations doing the same
  • One login usable 24 hours per day for POP3 email and FTP access to web space
  • Unlimited email aliases and auto-responders
    • Disk space may be a limiting factor, and bandwidth limitations may limit how many you want to actually use, but no hard limit
    • A domain is needed to take advantage of these features
  • Technical support by email, generally limited to resolving problems with our service not working or with getting specific information needed to run a CGI
  • Payment accepted by Visa, Mastercard,  check, and others (see the Billing page)

  Account Types

We offer several hosting options so that you may pick one to meet your needs:

 Small
Price: low as $3.75

 Medium
Price: low as $11.75
 Large
Price: low as $57
 Huge
Price: low as $819
For personal home pages without much traffic, businesses just getting started on the web, or a permanent URL and email address forwarding the user to the ISP du jour, a small account's low cost lets you pay for just what you need.
For sites just a bit too big for the small accounts, sites getting a moderate amount of traffic, and sites looking to use a secure server, a medium account eases worries about disk space and traffic usage. We suggest that people unsure of what type of account to get look here. For sites needing a lot of disk space, having above average traffic, or for resellers looking for a medium-overhead, low cost way to add domains to their fold, large accounts offer one of the best disk space per dollar values in the business. For sites with gigabyte or multi-gigabyte databases, intense CGI/PHP3/MySQL activity, or very high bandwidth requirements, we can dedicate a machine to your site. This is also a very-low-incremental cost way to resell web space.

  Additional Charges

We encourage you to choose an account that is large enough for your site. If you go beyond the disk or bandwidth limits, over-charges apply. If you know you will go over the disk or bandwidth limits but don't want to go the a bigger account you can pre-purchase space or bandwidth as an extra. You can also get additional logins, twin domains, and FrontPage Server Extensions set up as extras.

  Bulk Rates

For resellers (or people who just happen to have a whole lot of domains):
  • Large and huge accounts have options to add additional domains at a special price.
  • Of course, all accounts are resalable.

  Apply for Account

New customers should now sign up with this form so that we can get all the information about you that we need. Normally within 24 hours of submitting this form you will be emailed a login and password. If you are using your own domain but the transfer or creation is not yet complete you can append `.trafficblaster.com' to access your account immediately. You should then look through the manual to learn how to access your account.

Other pages anyone about to sign up should read:

  • AUP: some of the restrictions placed on your account
  • Billing information (currently just a list of accepted payment methods)
  • Dealing with the InterNIC, quick help for anyone who will be hosting a .com, .net, or .org domain here. People hosting other top-level domains can also look at the forms included there to find the name server information they will need to put on whatever form their chosen NIC uses.
